In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations of goods and services are extremely valuable to the Center, enabling the YRCC to fulfill its mission of "providing services and programs that promote health and wellness, and enhance the quality of life throughout the greater community." There are many ways you can contribute to the YRCC's work.

1 - Donate your time and talents as a volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the YRCC volunteer application. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
.           a-Delivering Meals on Wheels to the homebound,
.           b-Serving as a hostess in the dining room,
.           c-Greeting and registering participants at Club Yarnell activities,
.           d-Facilitate a workshop or presentation on topics of interest as part of Club Yarnell.
.           e-Staff the thrift store,
.           f-Assist with office tasks and building maintenance,
.           g-Help plan and implement special events, and
.           h-Outreach and networking activities.
2 - Donate your unused items for resale in the YRCC thrift store. Valuations
3 - Donate food for a special event, or items for the YRCC quarterly raffles and other fund-raisers.
- Donate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Donate office supplies and equipment.

Although in-kind donations are not monetary donations they are not without value. The value of an item you donate is determined by you and your tax advisor. To provide you with guidance on the value of commonly donated items click on the Value of Thrift Store Donations link. Donors are also advised to consult with their tax advisor and to refer to IRS Publication 526 - Charitable Contributions <>. The YRCC will issue a receipt for the amount you determine for the donation within IRS guidelines. Unless otherwise requested, the receipt will be sent to you via email.
